Dutch Dare Challenge

My sister sent me another great blog to check out - Dutch Dare Card Challenges. They have weekly challenges with great prizes. This week is a sketch challenge:

I decided to try out my new PTI flower die...

...sadly I have to say that my sister had to show me the best way to make the flowers! I read most of the instructions online and thought I had it...but it was sticking out way too much and when I squished it down, it pretty much killed it! But she read the full instructions and needless to say - the flower looks great!

Button Find!!

I think stamping or crafting people are the only ones that could understand my excitement yesterday so I've gotta share what I found! I was helping clean out my great-aunt's house and we found this old shoe box filled with :

BUTTONS!! Come to find out - my great uncle & aunt both worked at a button factory years ago and I didn't even know. These buttons are awesome - so colorful and odd shaped. To everyone else it was just a box of buttons...but to me this was a gold mine - LOL!!
